Senior Enterprise IT Security Analyst Description West Enterprise Security group is seeking an experienced& Senior Enterprise IT Security Analyst& . The team is an independent group and is responsible for the network and data security for West and our clients. This role will be responsible for but not limited to: Proactively monitor, analyze, and correct the Information Technology (IT) security incidents occurring within the company infrastructure using a variety of knowledge (eg, Internet/Intranet security, software development, networkarchitecture, protocols, firewalls, intrusion methods and tools, systems, products, access, etc.) while adhering to Corporate and departmental standards and guidelines and in a timely and accurate manner. Respond to escalated internal and external security infringements and quickly react to information securitythreats, such as computer viruses, hackers, analyze security of applications prior to release, ensuring applications meet defined goals. Coordinate a variety of special projects, as assigned by supervisor. Perform assessments. Ability to work independently. Qualifications Education Bachelors’ degree in computer science, MIS, or related filed required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements. Experience Minimum 3 years’ experience with information systems security or related field required. Technical One year system platform (Windows, UNIX, TCP/IP, or Web) Internet Protocol (TCP, UDP) experience is required. One year standard programming language experience is preferred (eg SQL, Visual Basics, C++, HTML, PERL, etc.) Other Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Access required.
