Our commitment to customer service is the cornerstone of our vision and values.   We are currently seeking a sales professional to join our Brokerage Sales team to expand our Disability Income (DI), Critical Illness (CI), and Long Term Care (LTC) sales. This position will focus on expanding, maintaining, and developing our relationships and sales with our brokers focusing specifically on DI/CI/LTC products. The individual that fills this role will join a company with a nearly 100 year tradition of excellence and will have the following accountabilities:Promotes and maintains positive relationships with brokerage distribution agencies. Identifies and effectively resolves relationship/channel challenges that arise within the brokerage distribution arrangements or across various home office divisions.Attract new distribution/marketers to Mutual of Omaha.Develops, negotiates, implements and documents marketing and activity action plans for brokerage distribution relationships to impact business results.Defines objectives and agendas for travel plans which tie into client's business plan. Provides analysis and trip summary report on results of visits. Manages & reports on allocated budget for travel and entertainment expenses.Monitors business plans and activities to ensure sales objectives are achieved. Implements action to impact business results when objectives are not achieved.Directs and coordinates the training activities and product sales seminars for brokerage distribution hierarchy (clients).Coordinates sales efforts within multiple home office functions including Actuarial, Information Services, Customer Service Division & Law Division to ensure commitments made in the brokerage distribution arrangements are delivered. Coordinates marketing and service activities to ensure appropriate material and support functions are developed effectively for distribution.Provides input regarding strategic direction and position of brokerage distribution arrangements making recommendations for modifications as marketplace demands shift.Remains current on industry shifts or changes related to product, compliance & carriers.
