Our client is looking for an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join their team!Job Description:The Sales Manager supports established customers and acquires new customer accounts, manages existing agents and builds new local distributors. Builds and leads a new team with a strong technical knowledge base and OEM account management experience. Obtains market intelligence to support the strategic planning of the company. Coordinates trade shows and conferences. Responsible for leading the product evaluation stage of the sales process working in conjunction with all functional units such as engineering, purchasing, and operations. Key responsibilities Manage established OEM customers Develop new strategic OEM and application customers and capture new business Identify and develop sales representatives in North-America and manage established ones Build and lead a small sales team (sales rep support manager; sales engineer) Gather information concerning market conditions Develop sales plans for North-America. Recognize opportunities and apply the necessary resources to capture new business. Be cognizant of and report all risks to current business. Resolve customer issues that affect current or future business by involving the appropriate personnel. Coordinate marketing initiatives (trade shows; literature; etc.)Qualifications Minimum five (5) years’ experience within a related capacity Bachelor of Business/Marketing and preferably also in a technical field (e.g. Mechanical Engineering) Ability to travel up to 50% of the time on the job both domestically and internationally (Europe, South-America) Outgoing personality with excellent communication and presentation skills Planning skills Dependable, reliable, and trustworthy Competent computer skills for communicating and analyzing data Proficient with MS Office applicationsNice-to-have: Related product knowledge of diesel engines, gearboxes, or heavy equipment industry Physical Demands Required to sit or stand and move about the facility About 50% travel by car/ plane /etc. Occasional lifting of items not to exceed 50 lbs.
