.The Engineering Maintenance Manager is responsible for the cost effective design, installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical and facility equipment and property of the manufacturing facility. He or she oversees and/or supervises the mechanical and engineering aspect of all maintenance and facilities work that is conducted throughout the facility, be it performed by employees or contractors. Creates or updates related manuals, sketches, prints, drawings or other documentation.Ensures that engineering projects, initiatives, processes, and systems are in conformance with the organizations objectives and policies, and in compliance with the applicable code, regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA). Must effectively interface with all departments, associates and appropriate contractors and vendors.
